Sierra Watercolor Society's newest exhibit of original watercolor paintings for sale by local artists will be a judged exhibit, so artists will be entering their best new works. Available for the public to enjoy at no cost, and everyone can vote for their favorite painting. Appropriate for people of all ages and abilities. An Artists' Reception will be held on Saturday, May 18, from 1-3 p.m.--an opportunity to meet the artists and to ask them questions about their work.

Art writer, activist, and sometimes curator Lucy R. Lippard joins artist Judith Lowry for a powerful discussion on the intersections of feminism, storytelling, and Indigenous identity in contemporary art, exploring how women artists reclaim their voices and cultural narrative to challenge dominant histories.

Join NMTS for Fun Friday Night "Open Mic Night "where you get the chance to sing, dance, or play an instrument to your heart’s content!
Event ends at 6:45 p.m. Pick up is no later than 7 p.m. This is an all ages event and individuals under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Event is free but there is a suggested $5 donation to NMTS.

Join The Holland Project and Laika Press for a day of hands-on art, prints, zines, and more! This community event will feature local artist vendors, free hands-on printmaking and zine stations, a popup reading by Landline Poetry, free art supply swap meet all day with Reno Community Art Closet, seedling sale by Good Deed Seeds, a Serva Pool Flux popup by artist Christopher Lynn, and information sharing from local grassroots activist and mutual aid groups.

About the Event
Doodle Your Soul is back with their famously awesome and creative Kid's Arts & Crafts Class! Come in this Saturday from 12-3pm to enjoy creating art and take home what you make.
This is completely free, but we ask you to RSVP to make sure we have plenty of supplies.
Adult supervision is required for the duration of the class.

About the Event
With their fusion of bluegrass instrumentation and folk-rock amplification, Rose’s Pawn Shop have spent the better part of two decades carving out an Americana sound that’s as diverse as the band’s native Los Angeles.
