Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd bring their legendary sound to the Reno Events Center on September 25 for a night of timeless Southern rock. More than 50 years after the release of their groundbreaking debut album Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd, the band continues to captivate generations of fans with iconic hits and an unmistakable sound that helped define a genre.

Carrying forward a legacy built by original members like Ronnie Van Zant and Gary Rossington, today’s lineup—led by Johnny Van Zant alongside Rickey Medlocke and Damon Johnson—honors the band’s rich history while delivering powerful live performances that keep the music alive. Nevada’s Recovery and Prevention invites you to join us in celebrating Recovery Month by registering to attend our R5k Run/Walk & Recovery Celebration. September marks National Recovery Month which is observed to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can empower those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives.

NRAP’s R5k Run/Walk & Recovery Celebration is held to promote community health and wellness, celebrate individuals in recovery, and reduce the stigma often associated with addiction. The R5k will provide an opportunity for participants to walk/run in honor of someone they know impacted by substance use, followed by a recovery celebration open to all community members. The post-race celebration is free and open to the public regardless of 5k participation. The celebration will include food, family activities, and local guest speakers and advocates who are in recovery. Community organizations will provide information on local services and present on relevant topics.

Doodle Your Soul is back with their famously awesome and creative Kid's Arts & Crafts Class! Come in this Saturday from 12-3pm to enjoy creating art and take home what you make.
This is completely free, but we ask you to RSVP to make sure we have plenty of supplies.

Some weeks leave you running on empty. Settle & Soften is an hour set aside just for you: a gentle, therapeutic sound bath designed to help your body unwind, your thoughts quiet, and your nervous system finally exhale.

The soothing tones of crystal singing bowls and other sound healing instruments wash over you, easing tension and guiding you into a state of deep relaxation. Breathing deepens, the mental noise fades, and something in you finally stills. There's nothing to do, nothing to prepare, and nothing to understand. You just lie back, relax, and receive. By the end of the hour, you'll feel softer, steadier, and a little more like yourself.

All experience levels welcome. No prior knowledge of sound healing necessary. Props are provided. Wear whatever feels comfortable.

Little Movers
A 6-Week Inclusive Movement & Dance Program for Toddlers (18 Months–3 Years)
Program Length: 6 Weeks
Session Length: 45 Minutes
Audience: Toddlers (18 months–3 years) with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver

Program Goals
Little Movers encourages children to:
 Build confidence through movement
 Develop balance and coordination
 Practice body awareness
 Explore rhythm and creativity
 Strengthen caregiver-child relationships
 Develop social skills through shared play
 Experience joyful movement in an inclusive environment
Every activity can be adapted for children with differing mobility, sensory,
communication, or developmental needs. There is no "right" way to participate.

A 6-week Inclusive Music Program for Toddlers (18m-4 years) and their Caregivers.

Little Rainbows Music Play celebrates every child exactly as they are. The program welcomes children of all abilities, family structures, cultures, languages, and identities. Activities are sensory-friendly, adaptable, and emphasize joyful exploration rather than performance.
Each session encourages:
Music as communication
Social connection
Early language development
Gross and fine motor skills
Confidence and creativity
Parent-child bonding
