KUNR’s fall 2026 cohort includes eight students from the Washoe County School District: Maya Martinez, Sequoia Burkhouse, Kaitlyn Campbell, Lucas Hinds, Maania Manha, Mariana Ortega, Disha Rohith, and Laine Parkhurst.
Over the semester, students produced interviews and news stories as part of a class led by WCSD teacher Brian La Torre and KUNR reporter Maria Palma.
