One of Nevada's best-known roadside restaurants becomes a gallery for July. Resilience in the Desert gathers some twenty artists, outdoor metal sculpture by Ricardo Breceda, and the story of Walker Lake - a receding desert lake and the bighorn herd that still crosses at dusk. Presented in connection with Artown, in partnership with the Walker Basin Conservancy. Free. Artist Day at month-end.

Classical Tahoe Music Festival returns for its 15th season July 11–Aug. 9, bringing four weeks of orchestral, jazz and chamber music performances to North Lake Tahoe. Featuring more than 70 musicians from across the country, the 2026 season includes orchestral masterpieces like Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, the return of Music in Motion with the Lake Tahoe Dance Collective, the Brubeck Jazz Summit celebrating jazz legend Dave Brubeck, family-friendly programming and a new chamber concert at Sugar Bowl Resort. Performances take place at the Ricardi Pavilion at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe and additional venues throughout Incline Village. About the EventShe-Rock, Ladies of the Eighties is a band that pays tribute to Tina Turner and 1980s rock divas she inspired. She-Rock is made up of a powerful rock band, and an all star group of five ladies, performing the hits in the personas of the Pretenders, the Eurythmics, Pat Benatar, Blondie, Joan Jett, Cher, Heart, Stevie Nicks and Tina Turner, live and full of energy, like they did in the 80s. Not only does the audience want to dance to this band, but they like to join in on the singing and are encouraged to wear their best 80s rock & roll costumes, as the She-Rock ladies provide an ever-changing fashion landscape.
