SWS's newest exhibit, "Painting Outside the Box" features new, innovative watercolor paintings by local artist, for sale or just to enjoy. An Artists Reception will be held on Saturday September 27 from 3:30-6:00PM. All are welcome to come and meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the exhibit.. Appropriate for people of all ages and abilities.

Today local businesses located inside The Basement at 50 South Virginia, Reno’s historic downtown post office building, announced the launch of a monthly community event featuring live music, live art, and food and drink specials. The event features live music by Josiah knight.

Wendy Calvin, a planetary scientist specializing in optical and infrared spectroscopy of minerals and ices, discusses many different planets, why scientists believe these planets have interior oceans and upcoming missions that will expand our understanding in new ways.
