Join guest instructor Nicole Sklar and DJ Bela Bass as we celebrate the January New Moon, a time symbolizing fresh starts, introspection, and planting seeds for future growth.

We’ll set our intentions for the year ahead by opening our Lotus Bloom with a group mandala activity. Please bring one type of natural item to contribute such as fresh or dried flowers, leaves, branches, petals, or pinecones.

This gathering encourages innovation, new ideas, social change, and transformation. It’s a time to clear out old patterns and set intentions for both personal and collective renewal.

The spiritual symbol of the blooming lotus represents rebirth, self realization, and enlightenment. Just as the lotus draws nourishment from dark, murky waters, we too grow through life’s challenges. Each chakra becomes a petal of the flower, awakened and renewed, as we dance for the waxing moon, blooming together.

About the Event
Silk & Steel is not your typical duo for many reasons.

They aree known for their amazing sound. This is accomplished with a drive of live drum's accented with percussion and then expertly blended with professionally mixed tracks. Both Karin Denise and Greg Sample are seasoned entertainers, but their vocal chemistrytogether make their audience stop and take note.

The next atypical aspect of Silk & Steel is their extensive

song list. They pride themselves o n performing songs that

everyone recognizes, but a r e not over played. Their repertoire of songs is large and diverse enough to tailor a performance to a specific theme, generate a night club party atmosphere, or bring you the standards and soothing tunes of the past.

Greg Sample brings talent to the drum throne while being

the heartbeat of the music. Karin Denise having been a

Las Vegas Headliner, uses her singing, dancing, percussion, and commanding skills to complete Silk & Steel.
