This is a one-day event filled with camaraderie, music, education, and fun! Participants will start their day running through the music in the large group, break off into smaller sectionals to workshop with their sections, and then come back together for a "dress rehearsal" of sorts before we open the doors for a free public concert! Schedule will vary based on the ensemble(s) you plan to participate in, but that is the basic idea.

Join us for a Thrift Store Volunteer Meet & Greet, where you can learn about volunteer opportunities at our thrift store! You’ll have a chance to meet our amazing team, get a behind-the-scenes tour, and see how your time can make a difference for pets in need. No strings attached—just come and see if it’s the right fit for you or someone you know!

The Higher Elevation Orchestra, led by music director Alex Eisenberg, proudly presents the 28th Annual Hot August Pipes! Join us for a historic performance of the Guilmant Symphony #2 for Organ and Orchestra, featuring David H. Brock on the organ.

We will also perform Collage Symphony #1, weaving together magnificent movements from Schubert, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Stravinsky.

📅 Three Performances Only:
• Saturday, August 22 at 3 PM – St. John’s Presbyterian, Reno
• Sunday, August 23 at 3 PM – St. Theresa Catholic, South Lake Tahoe
• Monday, August 24 at 7 PM – Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Reno

A free gentle yoga class designed for older adults. Mats, straps, and blocks provided, but please bring a blanket or a towel.

A 6-week Inclusive Music Program for Toddlers (18m-4 years) and their Caregivers.

Little Rainbows Music Play celebrates every child exactly as they are. The program welcomes children of all abilities, family structures, cultures, languages, and identities. Activities are sensory-friendly, adaptable, and emphasize joyful exploration rather than performance.
Each session encourages:
Music as communication
Social connection
Early language development
Gross and fine motor skills
Confidence and creativity
Parent-child bonding
