Join Reno Public Market and Luminescent Dance Team for Dance Showcase Night, an evening of live dance performances, music, and an open dance floor!
Reno/Sparks-based Luminescent Dance Team is bringing their energy back to the Reno Public Market stage with performances showcasing K-Pop and an expanding mix of dance styles. Whether you’re a longtime K-Pop fan, a dancer yourself, or just looking for something fun to do in Reno, everyone is invited to come watch, dance, and be part of the night.
Following the showcase, the floor opens up for a random-play dance session featuring K-Pop favorites, classics, and more. Grab your friends, hit the dance floor, and show off your moves—or hang back and enjoy the performances!

Nevada’s Recovery and Prevention invites you to join us in celebrating Recovery Month by registering to attend our R5k Run/Walk & Recovery Celebration. September marks National Recovery Month which is observed to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can empower those with mental and substance use disorders to live healthy and rewarding lives.

NRAP’s R5k Run/Walk & Recovery Celebration is held to promote community health and wellness, celebrate individuals in recovery, and reduce the stigma often associated with addiction. The R5k will provide an opportunity for participants to walk/run in honor of someone they know impacted by substance use, followed by a recovery celebration open to all community members. The post-race celebration is free and open to the public regardless of 5k participation. The celebration will include food, family activities, and local guest speakers and advocates who are in recovery. Community organizations will provide information on local services and present on relevant topics.

Doodle Your Soul is back with their famously awesome and creative Kid's Arts & Crafts Class! Come in this Saturday from 12-3pm to enjoy creating art and take home what you make.
This is completely free, but we ask you to RSVP to make sure we have plenty of supplies.

We’ve all seen the rise in authoritarianism – from ICE murders and general cruelty, to limitations of free speech, to the current efforts to keep people from voting so they can control our elections and seize more power – but we can stop it by taking action together.

Join your neighbors on Saturday, September 26th from 12-5pm in Reno for a training that covers what authoritarianism looks like, what movements have done around the world to defeat it, and how you can take action with local groups in Reno.

Whether you’re new or experienced with political activism, come and get the playbook to protect and perfect our democracy in 2026.
